This book was written to represent several bullying situations students might encounter in a school setting. Mrs. Green is a compilation of all three authors. Many situations and responses are experiences based partially on their 88 years of combined teaching experience. Fictional Sam represents the responses they witnessed. The title “Shadowmaker” was chosen because bullying and the response or non-response to it leaves a shadow on each of us. The book is meant to start a dialogue with students about bullying.
